Dear Faculty,

Your negotiations team has completed a salary study of the 7 comparison colleges listed in our contract. This tremendous amount of research was compiled by scouring multiple public resources, including collective bargaining agreements and the State Chancellor’s website.

A few comments:

  • The District and the union, in accordance with our contract, have signed an MOU agreeing to 28 specific places (i.e., cells) on the full-time salary schedule that will be used for comparison. We used these cells.
  • Our contract specifically states that we should be making progress towards wages that are at the median of the comparison colleges.

Column D – MA or BA+2 years work experience

Column E – MA+15, or BA+15+2 years work experience

Column F – MA+30 or BA+30+2 years work experience

Column G – MA+45 or BA+45+2 years work experience

Column H – MA+60 or MA+2 years work experience

Column I – Earned Ph.D. or ED.D
